人是有歷史的動(dòng)物。但是，歷史畢竟不同于現(xiàn)實(shí)。在歷史中的人與事，它們的物質(zhì)性逐漸暗淡，精神性日益顯明。它們不再具有現(xiàn)實(shí)的沖擊力，但卻具有持續(xù)的精神回響。正因?yàn)槿绱耍藗儗?duì)待歷史的情感總是正負(fù)參半：既不想馬上成為歷史，又渴望留在歷史之中。
這種正負(fù)參半的情感，讓歷史呈現(xiàn)為虛實(shí)相生的存在樣態(tài)，如同靈光、氣氛或者煙云，它們是從物質(zhì)中洋溢出來(lái)，與心靈連接而成為一種境界。歷史在主體與對(duì)象之間逗留、縈繞成為一種心境。馬東民力圖用他的畫筆，捕捉住歷史的尾巴，在他心靈中留下的印痕。9月15日到23日，今日美術(shù)館1號(hào)館，馬東民“煙云”個(gè)展，帶觀者走進(jìn)的馬東民的藝術(shù)世界，領(lǐng)略到藝術(shù)家對(duì)于人生，對(duì)于藝術(shù)哲學(xué)式的思考。
Human beings are an animal of history, but history is different from life today after all. The materiality of people and events in history is gradually fading out, but its spirituality is growing increasingly noticeable. Historical figures and events don’t have a strong impact on reality anymore today, but they have a lasting spiritual reverberation. Therefore, people’s feeling towards history is both positive and negative: they don’t want to become history too soon, but they are eager to leave their marks on history.
Human beings’ mixed feelings towards history have rendered history both virtual and real, just like a miraculous brightness, aura, or cloud, which overflows from the material world, but get connected to the minds of human beings, and creates a spiritual state. History lingers between its subjects and objects, creating a particular state of mind. In the same way, Ma Dongmin tries to capture the traces left by the tail of history in his heart through his painting brush. Between September 15 – 23, in 4th floor exhibition hall of Building No.1,Today Art Museum, Ma Dongmin’s “Spirit Moment” solo exhibition allows viewers to enter into Ma Dongmin’s artistic world, and get a better perception of his philosophy and his reflections on life and art.
